The Rotary Club's Youth Camp is ideal for community groups and school / university activity camps and can be booked for day activities or overnight stays any day of the week.
Set in a quiet and idyllic environment, the camp is conveniently situated close to
many attractions such as 'The Gap', Natural Bridge, Blow Holes, Whale World and the picturesque Frenchman Bay, allowing for plenty of sight-seeing and group activities.
Staying at the camp allows you to access the many water based activities of the region, including the H.M.A.S. Perth Diving Wreck.
The Rotary Youth Camp is located on Frenchman Bay Road, Little Grove, Albany which is situated only 15 kilometres (approx.) from Albany town centre.
The camp currently has accommodation for up to 76 guests, comprising of 3 structures:
The main dorm sleeping 37 (3 single beds & 17 bunks) is divided into two sections by a loackable partition,
A smaller dorm is divided into 4 rooms capable of accommodating 6 in each room,
A 5 bedroom donga which sleeps 3 per room and has its own shower and toilet facility.
The units made available will be at the discretion of the camp booking officer. There is a tenting area and a limited caravan facility, fully equipped kitchen with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, refridgerators, deep freeze, gas hot water and a large dining/activities hall. A large covered barbecue area houses 2 gas barbecues.
$100 per day Facility Booking Fee** (maximum $350), plus:
$22 per person per night Camping Fee** (standard check-in 2pm, check-out 10am) OR
$12 per person, day-stay only** (standard check-in 8am, check-out 5pm).
Early check-in and/or check-out can be requested (fee charged based on $1/hr/person).
$24 per hour cleaning fee** on camp completion (fee is dependent on the condition in which the camp is left - minimum charge 3 hours).
A deposit of $350 is applicable to overnight stays, or $200 for day-use. You must bring your own sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, sheets and food.
